In Kyabram
Well i'm currently in Kyabram staying with the Luke's. They have 1 daughter and 1 son, but the daughter goes to boarding school. I have my own room which is pretty nice, and spacious. Their house is fairly big compared to the others i've seen around here. I dont know when i'm going to school but it will probably be in a few days. I get some days to sleep and such. Tomorrow is my first Rotary meeting so i'm planning on going there. So after i got picked up i was shown a bit of Melbourne. And first we saw 3 kangaroos and a joey. However when we got closer to Ky we saw a group of 30! it was cool we got closer to see them and they kept running and running away. At certain parks you can go pet them and such which they said i'll be able to do shortly. Anyways i'm in desperate need of sleep so i'll keep you posted on such. Bye

Welcome to my Blog, i'll do my best to keep this up to date, so check back frequently!

hi you! your posts here still show NY time-- do they show Kyabram, Victoria time at your end? Just curious- you might want to put the time there at the top of the posts so it all makes sense when you are back here after JUNE 17, 2010-- not that I'm counting!
ReplyDeleteKangaroos! Very nice!
SO glad you are there and hope you sleep through the night and then get up just a bit before the sun- speaking of the Sun- do they have a name for August 2- the cross quarter day-? it was Beltane or Lamas in the old UK (England, Ireland, etc) we do kind of ignore it around here-- but we do look forward to our shorter day after the winter solstice- "Ground Hog's Day"- wondering if the folks in Australia do anything. . . and so what did you do in Sydney?
Ya i have to change it its still eastern time i just need to figure how to do it on my blog page. but ya i was thinking i should change it. and of course ur not counting down. haha
